When you can’t find what you are looking for, who do you ask…..
Working from home, as a sole trader leaves you a bit in the dark.
Noticeboard is a two weekly newsletter
Here is your introduction to NOTICEBOARD – craft newsletter.
Dear Artists and Craft Workers
THE NOTICEBOARD – EXCLUSIVE TO EVERYONE!
THE NOTICEBOARD is an independent newsletter for
all craft workers. It is sent out every two
weeks, to keep all crafts in touch with the
latest news, reviews, important dates and
opportunities.
THE NOTICEBOARD can be used by any craft worker,
hobbyist to professional.
Please note that it is an individual project and
you do not need to be part of any committee,
association, group, clan or species!
I am expanding the database of THE NOTICEBOARD.
At the moment I have over six hundred craftspeople
on my list, there is always room for more.
Please pass my address to anyone you feel
could do with free information.
If something is happening nobody should miss out!
If I can be of any help, all you need to do is
write your request, and if I cannot help you
directly there is always someone out there that
can.
My information comes from the Crafts Council
of Ireland, Enterprise Boards, RDS
exhibitions, individuals that want their
news known and anywhere else I can find it.
I am interested in advertising for any association,
group, seller, shop, etc, and more!
Just to give you my background.
After an Art course, I did many different
jobs including secretarial work, manager of
retail outlet, painter and decorator, interior
designing, teaching interior design, CAD
technician, charge hand in a hotel, property
developing, landscape designer, teaching
wire-work in jewellery.
I became a mum!
Things changed! I began to work from
home and developed my jewellery business.
I supplied nine shops and only made one-off
pieces. Most of these were sale or return,
so I was very busy.
I ran a market stall with my wares for four
and a half years, and apart from the varicous
veins from standing in the Irish weather, I
gained a lot of experience from this.
Now after the birth of my third daughter, I
decided to start THE
NOTICEBOARD.
Keeping my ears open has shown there is so
much happening in the craft world and unless
you go looking for it, opportunities pass by.
Lately I have asked to be put on three different
newsletter mailing lists and the same answer
has come back to me…
“If you look up our website, you can read it then!”
THE NOTICEBOARD is set up to get the information
to you when it is happening, because I can only
presume time is precious for everyone.
When it’s a choice between making your craft
or finding out what’s coming up, why not enjoy
your craft and receive the NOTICEBOARD, straight
to your computer!
Your input is always needed. If there is something
coming up, even a rumour, let me know.
.
If you would like to contact me personally for anything , please feel
free to call me on 086 8885321
All emails come straight to my phone so I can
offer a fast response to all contacts.
To receive information about fairs,
good suppliers, exhibitions,
advertise your business/product,
information to start your own business,
advertise your own classes/courses
You can catch more information about what is happening in the craft world through
www.irishcraftupdate.com/blog
Another great place to advertise! If you are running classes or courses, it would be greatly appreciated ifthis email could be displayed for others to benefit too.
Thanks for your time,
Regards
